axiom-source software package provides General purpose computer algebra system: source files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install axiom-source
axiom-source is installed in your system.
Make ensure the axiom-source package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep axiom-source *
You will get with axiom-source package name, version, architecture and description in a table
